Chrysalis Community is an environment for people living with AIDS to learn and practice holistic methods for healing the mind, body and spirit.

Set on 108 acres in Southern Vermont, Chrysalis is a retreat for both guests and residents.

My brother John died of AIDS in 1987 and I promised him that I would continue to work with people with AIDS, and help them live on this earth with love, dignity and presence. Through that promise, I found my purpose and my passion. In the fall of 2001, I sold my home in Williamstown, MA and purchased the farm where Chrysalis was born.

There must be the presence of love, peace and light during their sacred journey! I have dedicated my life and energy to helping create the Chrysalis Community.

The Chrysalis Community is a Not For Profit Business with 501c3 Status.

We are located on 108 Acres in Pownal, Vermont.

The residence can currently house 6 people and the facility can support up to 20 daytime community members. As funding permits, we will be growing this capacity.
